Sunday (30/5) is the Feast of John Street Teles

Sunday, May 30, it happens one more edition of the Festival of Street. Event that celebrates the creation of Israel by the UN in 1948, the Feast of the street has become a traditional activity of cultural integration, included in the official calendar of Porto Alegre. To carry out the Party Teles John Street is closed in the stretch between Henry Days and Aranha.
The opening of several stalls with typical products of Jewish cooking and crafts, as well as other services offered by organizations invited to participate in the envento is planned at 10:30 am and continues throughout the day, with closing expected to 18h.
Among the partner organizations are the Jewish community, as the Pioneers, the Wizo, youth groups, as well as other social institutions such as the Children's Cancer Institute and Susepe.
