Moisés Wasserman
Son of Jones and Louis Wasserman, Wasserman Moses, better known as "Moishe", was born in Pelotas, on June 9, 1930. Living in a Jewish settlement since childhood and learned to speak Ydish cultivate their traditions along with brothers Henry, Sarah (deceased) and Clara.
He moved to Bage still young, where he had to study in college of priests. Even though a Jew, he faced the situation with extreme naturalness: the periods in which other students had classes in Catholicism, Moses devoted himself to study its origin and history separately.
After living in Bage, moved to the city of Rio Grande. Years later, he decided to come to Porto Alegre where no more left.
There are about fourteen years, Moses has been transmitting Jewish knowledge and values to young people, as a collaborator of Rabbi Ruben Najmanovich, Union of Jewish Synagogue at Rua Barros Cassal 750.
Moses part of the prayers, take care of the ordinance, it correction of texts, advises and assists the Rabbi of FACT, in virtually all activities. "Here we do group therapy, for free, without paying a psychiatrist." Divertese Moses, stamping a wise smile.
About to turn 80 years old and bursting with vitality, Moses feeds the healthy habit of meeting with his countrymen in Well End Bar and snack bar in the Park. Friendly and attentive, Moses is a rich source of experience and knowledge, accessible to all citizens hungry for culture.
In the Jewish religion and culture, among his greatest passions are his family, now composed by Marcelo children, Patricia and Fernana, brothers, nephews and grandchildren.
